Testimony of My Why?

The Ever-Building Man Exist

He Met Me Where I Was

There was a time in my life when I had lost sight of where my salvation, my hope, and my faith truly rested. I was in a Whirlwind of the Adulting Life!

The pain of my past, the struggles of divorce, the loneliness, and the overwhelming weight of trying to be a father through it all had taken me to places I never imagined I would go.

I felt abandoned. Ashamed. Unworthy. I had missed my purpose, missed the right path and life was done.

And there came a night when I nearly gave up on life altogether.

But in the depths of that darkness, when I had forgotten where to turn, I experienced something that would change the direction of my life.

I felt the quiet reassurance that Jesus had not abandoned me.

Even when I had lost sight of Him, I believed He was reaching out to me.

Not with a promise that tomorrow would be easy.

Not with a guarantee that the struggles would suddenly disappear.

But with an invitation to come back, surrender the burdens I had been carrying, and begin walking with Him again.

I didn't know what the years ahead would hold. I didn't know how long the road would be or how many more challenges I would face.

But I began to understand that I didn't have to figure everything out that night.

I just needed to take the next step.

And then another.

And another.

Looking back, I can see how much I still had to live for. The love of family, the joy of fatherhood, the people who would enter my life, and moments I could never have imagined during those darkest hours.

My journey of healing hasn't always been easy or immediate. I've needed faith, the support of people who love me, and the willingness to keep growing.

That is why The Ever-Building Man exists.

Because somewhere tonight, another man may be sitting alone, believing that his mistakes, his marriage, his finances, or his circumstances have made him unworthy.

I want that man to know his life matters.

I want him to know that he can ask for help, that there are people willing to walk beside him, and that his story does not have to end in the chapter he's living through.

I believe Jesus met me in my darkness, not to tell me the journey was over, but to remind me that there was still a journey worth taking.

And today, I want to help other men discover that same hope.

Broken. Blessed. Built.
